So on the very top right when you sign in and login into your accout, you'll see your profile picture at the top right hand corner. Click on it, and there'll be a small drop down menu. Click on "Settings". There, you'll see a setting which looks like the Gmail (only if you have gmail) mail settings. Don't click on anything just yet; scroll all the way down until you see "Protect My Tweets". Click on that. (: Save profile, and continue life. (:
If you want to see a detailed account of how to do this process, check out their support website - support.twitter.com/.../14016-about-public-and-protected-accounts. Lastly, follow me on Twitter? I'm http://www.twitter.com/beachbarbiebabe Hope I helped! Best Answer appreciated.(: -Cindy. Ads |

You can protect your tweets. Your Twitter profile may still come up in search engines along with tweets you wrote prior to protecting your tweets. However, your tweets will not be visible to the public or other Twitter users who are not following you.
Log in to Twitter. Click your username in the top, right corner and select Settings. Scroll down to Tweet Privacy and check the box next to "Protect my Tweets". Don't forget to click the Save button. You're good to go. |
