Help about twitter/Facebook account info. EASY QUESTION!? please help :)?
So, I know for sure that the twitter people can of course track you down, but this guy was asking me for my number, and I don't want to talk to him, but can he I don't know, somehow find me or something? Like is it possible for him to find my address and stuff? Or no? Like can he track me down?
How bout if I block him?

It is unfortunately very possible if he is experienced with computers/hacking. Just your I.P address is easy to get but dangerous for other people to have! Definitely dont give him your phone number because a whitepages search with that and he can narrow it down to the house you live in. Be EXTREMELY careful with people like this

If your Facebook profile contains your mobile number/address and in your privacy settings you have NOT blocked ur contact info frm "others", then he can contact you coz its easy to find ur fb profile via google. if you have the same info in ur twitter a/c, then its too likely you will get a call from him.

Either edit ur privacy settings on Facebook & Twitter or remove the contact info

not on fb or twitter if you keep your info locked pretty tight under the privacy settings so that only your accepted friends can see it.

on other places online ... not so easy. Next time, give him a number and say you've got to run, but you'd love it if he'd call you so he isn't too suspicious. I always gave out 532-2002, which was for a home furnishings rental place (that advertised their number to this ANNOYING tune so I couldn't forget it if I tried) in the town I grew up in. Just give him enough almost-true info to look legit and he won't think to check it before you're loooooong gone.
