How do I update the Amd Display Driver on my laptop?

My laptop is only 7 mths old and over the last 4 wks has been closing when I go onto Facebook and play games! The blue screen of death comes up I have bought a driver update product online but it didn't work! Any ideas please? My laptop is an Acer Aspire. Thanks. PS. I have also tried going back to Factory Settings, that didn't work either.

go to the AMD website and download the latest driver - use the detect utility to find the correct driver

You should only update and download drivers for your laptop from the manufacturer as they modify drivers to work with the installed hard ware and system of the laptop.

Firstly, you need to find out whether it is your driver that's at fault, or whether it's a hardware problem.

When you get your BSOD, is there a filename ending in, '.sys', '.inf', or similar, suggesting that it is a driver problem? If not, it may be something else like your RAM, or worst still, your mainboard.

If it is your graphics driver, try to roll back the driver to a time when you didn't get a blue screen. It's sometimes better to have an old driver that works than a new one which doesn't!
