How to i put my Ipod touch on silent?
i recently got a new 4th gen apple Ipod touch and i have downloaded a few apps which make noise when i message comes through. for example when i get a facebook notification or when i check in on my emails.
is there anyway i can put it on silent for when i got to sleep? much appreciated Ads |

Settings-Sounds And turn it all the way down. It should work because it works for me! |

go into settings, tap on sounds, and bring the volume slider all the way down
edit to some answers... depending on how the iPod is set up, using the buttons on the side of the iPod will not work.. |

using the lower button on the right side of the IPod you can lower the sound.
just keep clicking it until all of the squares are black. now your Ipod will not make any sounds. Including when push notifications pop up. |
