How can I stop the facebook notifications on firefox?

I faintly recall when I downloaded firefox about getting notifications from facebook that pop on on the bottom right of the screen. Maybe I'm wrong and it was something added on but I want to be rid of it. It's enough with the actual facebook ones on the left side. Can someone help me, please?

Firefox offers add-ons for Facebook notifications. Apparently, your system has one of these. You can easily remove it:

1.Open Firefox and click ‘Firefox’ at the top (click ‘Tools’ in case you have Windows XP) and click ‘Add-ons’.
2.In the left pane, click ‘Extensions’ or ‘Appearance’ to look for the add-on and click the ‘Remove’ button corresponding to it.
3.Click ‘Restart now’.
