How can I ask this guy to Prom on facebook?

I want to ask this guy to prom, but the problem is that our permission forms are due tomorrow. I dont have his number and I wont see him today either. The last time I've talked to him was last year and I dont really know him that well; its really my last resort. (I think we would have fun) My only option is asking him on facebook, but I dont know how to start it?

Well, its a long shot but just go ahead and ask. If you haven't talked to him since last year, you might be disappointed, but what the heck. If you don't ask you will never know. Just say Hi! its-------------,

I would come up with a plan B though.

If you don't find a date, go with some friends that are going alone, you should just enjoy yourself and not worry about having a date. It is not an automatic great time just because you have a date.
