How do I know if a girl wants to be my girlfriend?

This girl is in same class with me, and we talked a lot and she likes it I think. We chat on facebook usually but I'm always the one who starts the chatting. We once went out at same place accidentaly and we had fun. Recently I asked her to go out with me and she said that I should come to the place where she goes with her friends every day. How can I know if she wants to be my girlfriend or just friend?
