abt twitter ..privacy?
hi i set up a twitter account ..wanted to ask that now there are people who follow me i dont mind them following me but i dont want to know who is following me can this be done as in shielding from knowing who is following u since theres this "Followers" tab on home page can i get rid of it? know its wieerd but wud appreciate any help ..thanks

Followers are people who receive your Tweets. If someone follows you, they:

i) become your follower and will display in the 'newest follower' section shown above.
ii) receive your Tweets in their home page, phone, or any application (like Tweetie, TweetDeck, etc.) that they use.

You can't stop people absolutely to follow you but you can restrict who follows you, or sees your updates

i) protect your Tweets from settings
Protecting your Tweets means anyone who wants to follow you must submit a request for your approval. Only followers you approve can see your Tweets, which will not appear in search engines.

To approve followers

a) If you have a public profile, you do not need to approve followers.
b) If you have protected your Tweets, you can approve followers from your account home page or profile page.
c) You can also approve followers by clicking the link in the follower request email notification.
