RHH: Why do you think Prodigy is more famous than Havoc?
He's more known, more popular I guess. I mean, compare their Twitter followers (just an example).
Havoc: 14,621 Followers
Prodigy: 102,641 Followers

I always liked Prodigy a bit more. Why do you think he's more popular than Havoc?

I dunno why, he seems more of the frontman of Mobb Deep than Havoc does, probs cos Havoc is more involved with the beat making. Prodigy's featured in alot more songs I think.

His solo career has been more successful, plus he's become something of an idol because he's had sickle cell anemia his whole life. He's a better rapper also imo. He's had a couple controversies with other rappers as well, so that may have helped raise awareness of him.

Yeah, Prodigy Is More Known IMO, Havoc Is Barely Mentioned In Here, But It's Good That Somebody Mentions His Name.

It's because Prodigy is the one that mainly raps in Mobb Deep, Havoc is more of a producer than Mobb deep and because of that he raps less on the songs in Mobb Deep's discography which means less recognition for him.

Better rapper and more successful solo career. Prodigy has always been on the forefront of Mobb Deep, Havoc he's more of a producer in my mind and producers aren't generally as popular as rappers in hip hop.

There's something about Prodigy that makes him more likeable, I like and agree with most of his songs and, if I'm honest, have heard a lot more of his work than Havoc's, I'd love to see them go at Nas or Jay though, there needs to be some hate around, stuff is getting boring nowadays, probly why 90's was so much better
