How do you add the bottom menu on Facebook?

My friends all have this menu thing at the bottom of their Facebook for notifications and chats and stuff, and I dont have it on mine..

How do you add it ?

Its not something you would add, you are probably using an outdated web brower that does not support it, or you have security on the computer that is restricting the ajax code and port required to use it.

well first you have to have either internet explorer 7.0, firefox 2, safari 2, or safari 3. all depending on whether you have a mac or pc. if you have those facebook should offer this feature. but if you don't have those browsers and have internet explorer 6.0 then you can click on the chat button on the upper right hand of every facebook page to use it.
