How can I stop someone on twitter from being able to read my tweets?

My friend has a problem, her brother can see her tweets, she really doesn't like it, she wants to stop him from seeing her tweets, could anyone help? Is it possible? Can she simply just block him and then he can't see her tweets or......? HELP!

If she blocks him,he shouldn't be able to see any activity from her page at all.

If her brother is one of her 'followers' on Twitter.. then u should tell her to simply block him.
and in case her brother is not her follower, then tell her to visit the link below:

https://twitter.com/settings/account

on this page.. click on 'protect my tweets' checkbox.. it is there on the tweets privacy heading..
all the other details are written over there itself..!
