Biotin, B Vitamins, and Vitamin E are all excellent for hair growth among african americans. Also LAY OFF THE RELAXERS a little. I know it doesn't go over well with the styling, but allowing your natural hair to grow along with the help of the vitamins will give you good results. Also getting regular end trims (but not too regular. don't wanna cut off the growth, lol).

Dr. Miracle Super Hot Grow (red writing on box) is EXCELLENT as well. My father (whose hair is very long) uses it faithfully and he's got hair down his back!)
