Closed my Facebook account a while back but tried to delete it today and say wait 24 hours?

Wait the 24 hours, then delete your account, then DON'T LOG IN TO IT at all - if you log in to the account within the next 2 weeks it reactivates your account. This also includes sites that use Facebook authentication and apps that access Facebook, they will reactivate your account within the 14 days as well.

Facebook do this for security reasons. They dont want a hacker to delete your Facebook account, because most people log into Facebook every 24 hours. Don't try to log into it after the 24 hours either...
