How do I know if someone rejected friend request on facebook?

I have a sister and I have not talked to her in a year because she is so rude, well I decided to just put everything aside. I noticed that she has a facebook so I decided to add her as a friend. I checked today to see if she accepted the friend request, I did this by checking her page. When I checked her page it had the option if I wanted to add her as a friend. Did this broad reject me?

Yes, she rejected you. If you've requested to be someone's friend, the page status should change to "Awaiting friend confirmation" or something like that.

If it's changed back to "Add as Friend," that means she's ignored your request.

actually if someone rejected you then its not shown to you..
you can again request him/her to add you

after a couple of day say if you went to see her she is to be added as friend
that means she rejected you and your to add her again

She rejected you. I have been rejected on Facebook. If you go onto their profile after you sent the request if they hadn't ignored you it says something along the lines of awaiting friend request and if they rejected you it would take you back to add as friend. Hope this helps!
