Text Updates on Twitter?

I already know I can get a text message from Twitter i f I send one there. I've been using that for a while now to update my status, etc. My question is, do I get updates when someone mentions me in a tweet (@username) or direct messages (DMs) me?

You should be able to setup what gets sent to you and what doesn't from the Twitter site itself. Log in and go here: http://twitter.com/devices on the right you'll see what you can and can't do. For the @username stuff, unless you have them on your "Send update to mobile" list there isn't a way to get it.
