Is there any way to avoid being found on FaceBook when someone searches you on google?

I've looked all over the privacy settings inside of facebook, but I can't seem to make me not come up when I search my name on Google. My sister has a facebook and her name never comes up with a facebook account when she is searched on google (not that I've tried this or anything... ;P) thanks for any help you can give me happy holidays.

Couldn't you just not use your real name (use a nickname or something) and give your facebook address to the people you want to have it?

Set your facebook profile so that only your friends (and maybe your network, or friends-of-friend also) can see your profile. See if that helps. If not, you can email facebook and ask them how to avoid coming up in a google search. They have a way to contact them through the "help" link.
