Is it disrespectful to a woman if her boyfriend posts pictures of his ex-girlfriends on facebook?
Specifically pictures of them on a romantic date, pictures of them playing footsies, pictures of just her suntaning in a bikini. He says they are just photos of memories. I could understand that if the photos were already posted before or even if he just posted the pictues she is in with other friends. We've been dating a year and he just post all these yesterday. Am I overreacting - or is this rude and disrespectful to me that he posted these now when I am his girlfriend?

It is a bit strange, I don't think you are overreacting. Like you said, unless the pictures include mutual friends, or if they are still friends then it could be acceptable-ish. But if it's just them two?.. Why doesn't he upload pictures of the two of you lol

It's not a big deal. A lot of people go down memory lane - it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you or that he wants them back. Why don't you have a little faith and trust in him and drop the issue. It's so silly. My partner posts pictures of her exes, befriends her exes that she hasn't spoken to in years, etc. Guess what? Who cares. I trust her so she can do whatever she wants. In fact, one of my exes and I just recently reconciled our past and are now friends again. My partner knows all about it and she's happy I finally have that closure. Drop the issue.

i would find that kind of weird. if they were just memories, he could just keep them and not actually have to post them on facebook. you sound pretty reasonable to me. i would just reason with him (nicely, because you don't want to start a fight ) about the photos.

However, i guess you could also ignore the photos if you feel comfortable with them. he may just be posting them up to, like he said, show old memories.

It all varies on the amount of faith and type of bond you guys share.
