How can I find my old friends?

I moved almost six years ago, and I lost contact with two of my best friends. My mother lost their phone number and address. I only remember a few vague things about them. I went onto Yellow Pages and called every number under their parents' names, none of them were the real ones. I have also spent hours searching through Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. I swear I'm not a stalker or someone creepy like that. But I really want to find them, does anyone have any other ideas on how to find them?

I suggest you to use Facebook Search site listed below. It allows to search all stuff on Facebook by keywords and doesn't require logging in. So, you may use any info you know... play with keywords.
