How can I take off the option close friends from Facebook?

How can I take off the option close friends from Facebook?
I select 3 friends in 'Close friends' and now a receive EVERY notification from them! I want to take off this!

Go to theyre page and where it says close friends click that, then youll see the list of options, click close friends again to uncheck it

click close friends to open the list

then you can remove the 3 people from that list
