How should i start talking to her?

Alright, so I'm a Junior in high school. I'm interested in a freshman who goes to my school. However i don't have any classes or anything with her so i have never talked to her before. How should i start to talk to her.. Message her on facebook, inbox her on facebook.. i dont want it being awkward or anything so what should i do?

Omg! I just did this the past week! Message her on FB by just saying "hey " and yes add the smiley it helps. Then she will say hey. Then say "Whats up? " then your conversation will take off! After a while if you want to get her phone number, say something like "Hey, my facebook rarely gives me notifications when i get a new message. What's your number?" Make it along those lines. Trust me its not awkward. I had the same thing as you. I didnt want to make it creepy but this truely worked! Good luck bro!
