How can I change my facebook color or layout?

I would like to know if its possible to change my facebook layout so that it's a different color. I have seen some groups on facebook claiming they can do this but nothing worked.

There is no way to change the Facebook layout or color at the moment.

Some of these groups that claim to change your layout are either:

1) Using a third party program to do it so that it looks different, but in truth really is the same layout.

2) Fake. They only want to get a bunch of people in their group.

3) Scams. In order to "unlock the new layout" you have to complete surveys or buy products. This makes a handful of money for them and in the end, nothing for you.
(This applies to the new "Become a fan to see the picture!" fan pages)

Many are trying to get Facebook to be more lenient with their layout like other sites such as Myspace. It may happen in the near future.
