Excuses to not go to a sleepover?

We are both 14 year old girls. I'm planning to tell her an excuse through facebook in less than an hour. I have been to her house before and it was SO awkward... her family also didn't seem to like me, well that's the vibe that I got. She would like me to sleepover on Saturday then go home on Sunday.

Any excuses?

If you have any siblings just say that you have to babysit them(if you have any that is ). You can say that you got grounded(this excuse might seem unbelievable since your going in 1 hour and you suddenly got grounded right before the sleepover). You can say that you have to go to dinner with your parents. Sorry these are usually the excuses that I use aside from being grounded since I my friends know that my parents never ground me. Good luck! I hope your able to get out of this situation.

Tell her you have to go to a cousin or sibling's soccer game. You could also tell her you're going out to a bordering state for the day. You could tell her you're having a family reunion that day and will be getting home really late. You could also say that you've been having colds lately, and you don't want her or her family to end up catching one. Hope it helps!

You could say you have a family thing early Sunday morning and you can't go, or just say your parents won't let you, If she asks why just say they said "because I said so". If you have any younger siblings or cousins who still need to be babysat, tell her that you totally forgot your parents are going out and you can't come over because you need to watch the younger kids.
