what happens if you close the email account linked to facebook?

what happens if you close the email account linked to facebook?
do you get a notification to change the email via facebook when they realize they cant send anymore messages there? or what?

You can still use your facebook account linked to the mail address.. They still keep sending mails there.. But you can go to settings and change your mail account to the new one..
