What happens when you block someone of facebook?
I want to block my parents from seeing my facebook but im not sure if they will get a notification that i blocked them or anything? Will they?

No, they wont know that you blocked them. If you are facebook friends with them now then they might notice because they will have one less facebook friend, but its not likely.
When you block someone, it means that they cannot view anything from your page, they cannot look you up, and they cant view any of your posts on your wall or any posts you made on anyone else's page. Its sorta like you don't exist to them on the internet!

if you do that they will knew it..yes they wil recieve that notification once they send u a msg..or comment in your fb.coz they cannot able to write you ..and u cannot read about what they doing
Better to do is setting your fb..or make a new 1 then add your frieds in there..better change your name

No it won't send them anything, but when you block someone they don't show up when you type their name into the search box, so if they try to look at your page then they might notice your name doesn't show up.
Other than that there is no really obvious reason, they may notice that they have one less friend but it's not likely unless they memorize the number. Plus, even if they noticed they would think that someone had deleted them and they probably would not think of you straight away.
I blocked my mom and she hasn't noticed yet!
