Posting links on twitter and numbers of webpage hits?
Hello.

Recently I started using Twitter to advertise my webpage with a link. When I post my link on Twitter using hashtags, I instantly always get at least 10 hits. I was just wondering if these are real people clicking on the link, or some sort of bot who clicks the link. Its just odd that hits add up so fast.

If anyone knows would appreciate it. thanks.

Some of it is most likely bots. There are programs out there that go seeking the keywords people use in their Tweets. However, you have to remember, as well, that your Tweet is only near the top for a few minutes, so it is possible that you are getting some of those people that are seeking information from your geographical location.
