Why is my ex boyfriend acting weird on me?

I tried to re add my ex boyfriend on Facebook but he won't add me back.

I was just frustrated with him before which was why I deleted him in the first place.

Getting over it now. We have mutual friends and he did say before hand that he did want to remain friends.

Just confused about the whole thing.
