Every time I open my email its loaded with facebook notifications and I'm sick of it. Its making my email run slow. It takes like a half an hour to delete it all because it goes so slow and it's hard to see who actually emailed me.

Go to your account settings and go to the notifications part. Uncheck the boxes where you don't want them to send an email about it and bingo! You shouldn't have them anymore.
