I just started using Twitter can you help?

Ok Twitter is so much different than I have ever used. I just had some questions. Like what are the trends I keep seeing what is that all about???? And how do I get people to follow me? Also are their real celebrities who use twitter them self?

yes there are real celbs who use twitter. make sure your following the right account or you might end up following a fake.

When people put a # in front of something, it makes that become a link. Let's say you like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you would tweet something about them and put #RHBH and it would link that tweet to others like it.


People will follow you if they want. I would start off by looking up people I knew and then following them. Also, look up celebs, blogs, companies, etc. that you're interested in.




I tweet for my own use, plus I make money on the side. I also promote my work (I'm a freelance writer). I do update personal things for friend, but a lot of them are me promoting ads and products that I feel strongly about, not to mention articles that I write. I tweet things my followers want to see.

Also, you have readers even if they don't follow. I only have 100-something followers, but other people also see me on http://twitter.com/Tobi_Is_Fab even if I don't know it.
