What is the fair amount of child support in utah?
My husband has a daughter with his ex girlfriend. We send her money every month $150-200 a month. after we send her the money a week later she calls and asks for more because the kid needs underwear. I don't think this is right my husband is the only one working since i just had our second kid a girl 8 weeks ago... Please if anyone know what is the fair amount so I dont feel guilty for not sending enough...

$200 amounts to $6 a day. Can you support yourself on $6 a day?

Here in WA I pay $500 a month for a single child! You should be lucky you only pay that much!

Whatever the court said is a fair amount is a fair amount.

If his daughter needs things, take his daughter to the store and buy them rather than sending his ex cash to support her crackhead boyfriend.

$200 a month is not enough to take care of a child. You have kids, so you should know.

that is all he is giving his child? what a tight wad. He should be giving at least 17% of his income before taxes. and you and your children are NOT a factor my dear. I have 2 children and my X has 2 more with his now second X wife. He pays us both $1000.00 each month which leaves him almost nothing to live on. We both get 25% of his gross income for the children as per NY state child support laws. Guess what... he does not complain. know why? He loves his children and KNOWS what is best. poor you.

LOL!!! Your husband is getting off VERY EASY!!!! Most pay around $500 to $600 a kid!!!! Its not his ex fault that you two was stupid and had a kid that you can't afford!!! Your stupid husband should of finish paying for his first child before he had another one!! its amazing how women like you only complain about the amount of child support a man pays when you are with him and its going to his EX for child support!! If you was getting a lousy $150 -$200 a month for a child, you would be crying about it everyday!! Stop being so selfish!!!

I'm going to say this as politely as I can...his other daughter - CAME FIRST. If your husband could not afford to support 3 children...he should have stopped making more babies!!!!

1) In CT my ex will pay me about $600 a month for our one child. That is about 25% of his paycheck and still leaves him plenty to live off of...

2) You are responsible to support the children YOU made. Get a job. Be it part-time nights or weekends only...get a job and start to bring some cash into your home.

3) Next time your children need underwear...let them go without. You don't care if the oldest has none...why wouldn't you treat your children the same?

Fair amount of child support = 20-25% of the biological parent's paycheck.

If it is not court ordered it is not child support and she can ask for retroactive support.
