Can a warrant for an arrest be cleared from child support if you are now living with the child?

I been living with my dad for 4 months now. And we think he has a warrant for his arrest for not caughting up on child support. What can we do?

He needs to go to court and arrange to pay arrears. That never goes away legally. Once he arranges payment, they drop the warrant.

He can also then file for support from your mother now that you live with him.

Why are there arrears? If there is a legitimate reason, such as unemployment, the obligor can still file for a reduction in them. Most Child Support obligors do not know there is free help from the state, by federal law, to obtain a modification. At the minimum, a motion should be filed to have any interest penalties set aside, which can double or triple the amount owed.
