My aunt is messaging my little cousin on face book, saying terrible things about my cousins mother and brother. I'm horrified by the accusations and promises to pray for my little cousin. It quite frightening and I wonder if it is illegal?

Well she is a crazy old woman and needs to get a life. Just tell your cousin to tell his/her parents about it.

No it's not ok. Your cousin should block her as a friend so that she can't do this. It must be upsetting for her to read these messages about the people she loves. Definitely innappropriate. She should know better at her age.

Damn crazy aunt. It could be illegal depending on the content of this slander. Is it threatening? At the very least if you can't bring this to court (are you sure you want to), you should help your cousin remove the crazy woman as a friend on facebook to stop the direct madness. However, do think about solving this chaos at the roots.

Well have it Blocked so messages won't appear on his face book. Asa far as legally I guess its leagle and can fall under a freedom of speech theory or law... Just have her blocked or Ignore... If she still gets annoying report her to the web as harrassment! I think you can do that?
