Why am I receiving unwanted Facebook notifications to my email?

For as long as I've had Facebook, I have never gotten emails for my notifications. I have every application on Facebook set to not send me emails. But, all of a sudden today, I checked my email and there were Facebook notification emails. I checked my setting and none of my applications are set to send me emails.

i had the same thing happen to me yesterday,its as if facebook forgot everything i told it.

just go to your settings again, go to notifications, and thoroughly check them all thoroughly again. if the emails still show up, all i can say is go to your email and set the messages your getting as junk email.

Just spam them or block them ..................You will not see them anymore!
