I need to save my brother from embarrassment?
A friend put a video on facebook and youtube of my brother doing weird shit from 3 years ago which is really embarrassing. he has taken it off now but a lot of people already saw it. In high school by the way. I don't think he has seen it or knows about it. What can I do? He already has bad self esteem.
no school on Wednesday. do you think if i got him to somehow take thursday and friday off as well that it would blow over?

Tell him to make jokes about it like:

There goes my first 15 minutes of fame...doing stupid stuff!
That's what happens when you have a seizure!
Great acting, wasn't it? I'm up for an Academy Award when this hits Hollywood!

Poke fun at yourself before others do...works for me!

I don't think that you can really do anything for him but support him and be there for him. What can really help people with low self esteem is for them to feel love and accepted- and to remind him that it doesn't matter what other people think and that you don't care about things like that.
It might be hard, especially if it was a really embarrassing video, but eventually people forget these sort of things.
Although i would tell him about it since its usually easier to hear about these sort of things from a caring friend than at school.
I hope that your brother can develop a good self esteem!

I agree with Barb....all he can do is laugh....if he does anything else it would just make a big deal out of it and make people remember it more.
