What would be the most secure and safe social networking site?
E.g. Facebook, Twitter, Bebo etc.

Facebook is the most secure one, or myspace

None. If you were to think facebook is, then you are wrong. Hacker software are even sold publicly for facebook. Same to hotmail, myspace, yahoo and more. Social networking are never safe.

Honestly, just as Lee said, none are secure.

I'm not talking about Secure from a my-account-might-get-hacked standpoint, I mean Secure as in it isn't good for you to publicly post your information online.

Sure, they'll say: Well with this new Privacy Feature, only friends can view your profile!
The thing about this is, your friends are the ones you should be trying NOT to share info with!

Even if friends are the only ones viewing your profile, people will try to add you all day long, not just to look at your info of course, but just for any reason. Therefor that option is useless, and even though you can decide if you want to accept or decline friends, it's still the same.

These sites are good for logging on and searching for old acquaintances and that kind of thing. But to emotionally pour all your life details onto a website for anyone to see is the problem.

What people don't realize is that it isn't just anybody hacking your accounts, its the Facebook TEAM that does this.

I don't want to sound like some anti-facebook rebel, but it's true.

I have a facebook, but I don't even go on it, and have never put any personal info on it.

Now to actually answer your question, though, I don't know what is the "Most Secure and Safe " social networking site.

Because any one you go to, you can hide your info from non-friends, etc, but you can't hide it from the creators of that site. Your info is never " safe and secure "

So just keep this in mind, and goodluck.
