If I reply to someones tweet that contains a hash tag do I have to write the hash tag at the end of my tweet?
Hi! Brand new to Twitter. I want to reply to a comment someone has made. At the end of the comment he has written a hash tag to indicate the specific topic. So now do I simply hit the the rply button next to the tweet and write my comment or do I reply, write my comment and then the hash tag or none of the above?!
Any light someone could shead on this would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks. Ads |

You don't have to include the hashtag unless you want your reply to be included in searches for that topic. (Usually, though, you do.) I prefer to stick the hashtag at the very end of my comment, though it really doesn't matter where it is as long as the @userid of the person you're replying to comes first.
