Help on Essay Topics? (Twitter/Facebook)?

We have to do an essay for English class and I kind of wanted to do it about twitter/Facebook. I was thinking about how people on twitter sync their accounts to FB and its annoying because of the constant updates and all the hashtags... but I don't think that would be a good idea.

What do you think would be some good topics having to do with twitter and facebook?

Cyber-bullying is one of the more significant topics with both of them. Another is whether time spent on social media is reducing real friendships and time spent with actual friends.

- write about access to social media during school. Some school systems have stopped banning all cell phones, including smart phones, during classes. Now the question arises as to how much of an impact they will have on the student's day. The idea of reducing real life relationships does remain a good topic. I think the bullying has been covered so much that it won't be well received.
