How do you cancel a friend request on facebook?

Ever since facebook has had its new layout, i just cant seem to cancel a friend request on facebook?

Cancel one you requested or ignore one requested to you? You can still access your friend requests in the same spot as before, but once a friend request is out there, you can't get it back.

You go on it your friends and it will show up as a friend. Go to the person u want to cancel and press the X next to their name

just go as if you were going to delete friends and go to the person and click the X by their name and that will cancel the friend request. yeah i know what you mean, it took me forever to find how to edit friends, go to the top right hand corner to "accounts, click on it, and you will see an "edit friend" option, its the first one, click on that and it will take you to edit your friends, go to the persons name and like i said before click the X to cancel the friend request.

Click 'Account' which appears at the top right side of your facebook page

Select Edit Friends from the side menu

Everything else is the same.

This link will take you to the "Requests" page.

Under the friend request that you have received, Click "Ignore Request" to ignore the request from a person.

If you want to cancel a friend request that you have sent, click on "Account Settings>Edit Friends" and under "List" on the left column in that page, select "Friends".

And this list will show you all the people you have added or have sent a friend request to.

The person you have sent a friend request but they haven't accepted, their name will appear in that list with "Friend Request Pending" written below their name. Click on the "X" next to their name to cancel that friend request.

You cannot canel a friend requst you can delete the friend after being accepted for message
them sayying my ignor my friend requist okay.
