for every baby shower that my aunt goes to she gives a photo album. she gives it to you there but then she takes it back. when the baby is born she has it engaved with the name date weight and height. she didnt know if everyoen really liked it but it was such a big hit that everyone started hinting that they wanted one. especially the ones with a place for a picture of mommy and baby on the front.

Diaper Genie. It's the only gift from my baby shower that I'm still using and my son's 1 1/2. Love it

My favorite gift was from my sister. She shopped for smaller items from both of my registries, and then packed them in a cute basket that coordinated with my nursery decor. I have actually used the basket more than anything that was actually in it!

I wouldn't buy diapers if you don't know what kind she is using. I got like five different kinds at my shower and my baby got rashes and I couldn't use those brands. If she's already had baby and you know the brand then that would be a great gift but otherwise no. As far as what you should get her you should get things off of her registry. See if she is registered anywhere. I was a little disappointed at my shower. People got me multiple things and things I already had at home. Nobody got things I really needed off of my registry and I had to go out and buy stuff I was hoping to get from the registry.

I needed everything so I appreciated all the gifts I got, no one thing stands out. She will be getting alot of baby gifts so what about something for her. A day at the spa, they have massages for pregnant women. Actually, I got ALOT...more than my baby could wear of 3 and 6 month clothes, one person gave me 9 month clothes, I was very thankful and remembered who gave me those clothes. Simple and boaring but much needed....onsies(different sizes) and burp cloths!
I was at a baby shower today, my cousin got a basket of stuff for her and her hubby to use at the hospital, snacks, water, magazines, you can stick a Dunkin Donuts gift card in there so Daddy can go get coffee. travel sized shampoo, conditioner and soap for mommy to use while in the hospital. cozy slipper socks,
I did get one "gift" I really appreciated after my son was born. My sil made us dinners for a week, put them in rubbermaid ready to heat up. She also went grocery shopping for us before we came home from the hospital and decorated our house....Welcome Home! She made a calloge of picutres of us...picutures of us in the hospital. Not the prettiest pictures(of me) but I was touched and thankful for her doing what she did.

I would say diapers. Believe you might think a pack will last. But they go fast.

I'm not sure if you mean something for her or the baby, but I have a really cute and unique idea if it's something for the baby. (And if the baby's a girl.)

The product is called "Baby Doos Perfect Ponies." They're for babies who don't have enough hair to be in ponytails yet. It's a headband with pigtails attached to it. The pigtails are available in blonde, frosted (a light brown color), and dark brown/black. The bows that "tie" the pigtails and even have a swarovski crystal in the middle of each one, are available in White, Black, Pink, Shocking Hot Pink, Red, and Lavender. I know these may sound a little crazy, but at least check out the pictures on the links below. This could be a really unique gift!

You can buy them from here: http://www.artfire.com/users/BellaAspire

Hope that helped!

I absolutely loved my designer diaper bag.

If I have to carry a diaper bag at least it looks nice!

Here's a link to my OiOi bag: http://mybabyshowergames.com/store/produ...9-9402-ss/
