How do you determine relative basicity of molecules?
For example

1. CH3CH2OH

2. CH2 = CHOH

3. (CH3)2CHOH

4. FCH2CH2OH

5. ClCH2CH2OH

From organic chemistry review questions for Acids and bases. Order them from least basic to most. I know Cl is more basic than Fl due to its lower electronegativity but the rest have me baffled.

is the question asking about acidity or basicity? because it appears that you have a bunch of acids and not bases listed

the way you analyze the acidity is to draw the conjugate base of each acid, and then analyze which is most stable due to resonance, electronegativity, inductive effect of neighboring atoms and so on

the more stable the conjugate base, the weaker it is, the strong it's original acid
the less stable the formed conjugate base, the stronger it is, the weaker the acid it came from
