How do i uninstall pre loaded apps?
I can't uninstall pre loaded apps such as stocks & shares....twitter...weather etc from my HTC desire. No problem uninstalling the ones I down loaded myself but when I go on to 'manage apps' and try to get rid of pre loaded ones there is no uninstall option..only to force stop whatever that means.

If your trying to uninstall the apps that came with the phone already , you can't uninstall them . What you can do is go to
Settings , click on the one you always click when you try to uninstall them . It should say on the bottom of the app , how much space it wasted . Hold down and press until it tells you what you would like to do , delete the memory space and yeah . Hope I helped |

No way. Part of O.S.files embedded. Force stop means you can turn off for now but they auto return. Download a good app killer. Check reviews and allowances before you do. I called provider AND Motorola and this is what they said.

You're going to have to replace all of your firmware to get rid of that crap. You might be able to get rid of some of it by just rooting your phone, but to get everything, you're gonna have to both root it and replace its firmware. Check out Cyanogenmod and xda-developers forums; these are the places I found my firmware. Once you get it loaded, your phone's performance will be DRAMATICALLY faster the apps you don't want will be gone, and you will have more functionality out of your phone.
Replacing your firmware is moderately difficult, and risky because if you do it wrong you can make your phone unusable. |

There is no way that you can uninstall pre loaded applications. To do that you have to create a new Operating System(firmware) which is out of question. You would better use another phone.
