How do I unhide the friend notifications on facebook.?

I accidentally hid the friend notifications that I myself sent out, that is to say, not the ones that say two others have become friends, but the ones that would autopost to my profile when I made a friend (you are no friends with x), and the ones that get sent out to notify others that I have friended someone.

How can I turn these back on using the current version of facebook? I've looked everywhere but found no control to fix this.

I have had this exact same problem...and finally found the answer!!! Go to your "Profile". Scroll to the bottom of the page to "Edit Options" (this is next to "Older Posts") Under "Hidden Stories" you should see where you hid friend notifications. Now you can unhide by clicking the X!
