How do i delete a facebook account?

I need help. I cant find where to close it.
I went to account settings and privacy settings i still cant find it.

but honestly you can deactivate it but it will be there forever, even all your post and pictures

You need to go on account settings in the top right corner of the screen and there should be 'deactivate account' on there.

It will ask you to put in your password and a quick security question and then its all done.

After that your account is as good as gone- nobody can see or access it etc including you. Unless you reactivate it of course.

You cant do it on FB mobile- has to be on a PC/laptop.
