Can't re-block someone on facebook?

I'm not much of a facebook regular, I was trying to unblock a friend and unblocked a family member with whom I am no longer affiliated. I attempted to reblock him and poked him instead *facepalm*
When I tried again, hitting the right button this time, I got a message saying I couldn't block him for 48 hours, is there any way around this? Or anyway to remove the poke?

time lock for 48 hours cant be waived and even if you did remove the poke he/she will still receive email notification

Blocking doesnt depend on whethe you poke or send anything to the friend you want to bloke. So long as you want to prevent spam on facebook . Use the latest version of fb .if that browser has failed

nope, you have to wake 2 days and you can delete the poke. isn't there an 'x' by it?

there is no way around waiting 48 hours, and no way to remove a poke

you could deactivate your account tho
