I have a Facebook, and have had it for a while now. All of my mom's friends are my friends on Facebook.

when you get a virus from facebook and your computer crashes, you wont have to tell her, she will know.

Just tell her, "Mom, I have a facebook page. But its ok cause only my friends can find me and see my info. Strangers cannot see my profile,"

Then, please be careful about who you add as a friend. dont add strangers to your friends, only people you know,

Does your mom know what Facebook is? You can help her create a page too and then she will feel better about you having one.

Option 2: Tell her "don't get mad plz . and tell her I have a facebook.

Maybe find a time when it is good for you and your mom to talk and just take a deep breath and tell her calmly. If she freaks out just say only my friends can see my page, pic, etc. Maybe even make her a page so it would make her feel better about you having a Facebook.

Play the harp as you tell her and break it to her gently.
