Is it allowed to make a new account (ie. 2nd account) in facebook?

I have an old facebook but it has like 300+ people that is friends with me, it's just too much.
I want to make a facebook and just have contacts with my relatives and close friends. Can i do that?
And also, can i make up a new name, maybe my nickname and last name?

Yes. There is nothing wrong with doing this. As long as you use a different email account every time, you can have as many as you please

creating more than one account is against the rules, but it's not impossible to get away with, you will just have to eventually verify each account with a different cellphone

Of course you can, it's the Internet! You just simply need a new email for the second account, you can't use the same email you used for your first account unless you delete your first account. Basically, one email per account. So make a new email and you can create your new account on Facebook. After that, it's very simple on how to create a nickname. All you have to do is add your relatives and no one else also.
