How do I get my facebook to stop lagging and glitching?

It started about 2 months ago. Everytime I upload a picture it will display sometimes and then sometimes my old picture will display. My wall posts and comments are the same way, sometimes they will show up and sometimes they won't. My chat freezes up or sends too many times at once and it's getting really annoying. Ive already tried changing passwords but it doesnt work. Its also not my computer because my brothers facebook on here works fine. Has anyone had this problem? What should I do??

try using a new web browser or uninstall/remove a file or program that might be to large

Check on 3 things.

(First) Your connection. Maybe your connection is too slow or you're overloading the connection by opening too many pages (other than Facebook) or web applications at once.

(Second) Your browser. Be sure to use an updated version of your browser. Other browsers cannot withstand the powerful codes of Facebook.

(Third) Your computer memory. Maybe your memory has been consumed by programs that run simultaneously while Facebook-ing. Close other applications that are not needed since it 'eats' memory space.
