well basically you can write tweets that are up to a 140 characters long. you can follow people, and this shows up in your "timeline," which shows all the tweets from the people your following as the come in. if you want to reply or tweet someone, you type @(whatever their username is). you can also make hashtags (#typewhateveryouwant.) and hashtags are helpful if you have a specific movement going on with people you know, or if there is a trend going on and you want to put in your two scents, you #(whatever the trend is) and say your witty comments on it. i know this is all confusing but you'll get used to it =]

Hi, I think, you have got good answer already about the twitter. Twitter is a micro blogging site and it helps reaching out to so many people with our short messages. Its good for promotional activities. Nowadays lot of people use twitter account to get maximum attention to their product on site.

Twitter is a Status Website A Website where you write your status and you can follow people you can mention people in your tweets and you can retweet what others write and you can message them thats pretty much it
