Why did my Bfs baby mama never take him to court?

My BF has a 2 year old son with his ex. She never took him to court for child support. I find this rather strange. There was a message that was sent to my BF via facebook that the child now might not be his and it is questionable. He is trying to get a test but doesnt want to tell anyone about it. Do you think this is why they never went to court? She is maybe using him for his money?

theres no telling and if i was you i wouldn't try getting in the middle of it unless he asks youtoo it could get very nasty and personal... been there done that... its not pretty just be supportive and only join in if he asks you...

You should know that not everyone in the world is after money. And sometimes you run across that reasonable and sane person that does understand that things just don't work out for everyone.

So it's possible that either they broke off on good terms, and she's ok with the way things are working therefore not needing his money).

It's possible that she may have cheated on him, and felt that she couldn't be sure it was his and so never sought child support.

It could be a lot of things. The best ting for you is be supportive of him, let him vent to you, but keep your nose out of it. He's a grown man, let him handle the situation until he proves to you that he can't.

She is likely collecting money from him while also collecting Welfare. This type of double dipping is common and in the end, he's the one obligated to pay it back to Welfare, not her. I got a case of that this week in Texas. A father who had been paying all along was ordered to pay Welfare $50,000 in retroactive support even though he had all the canceled checks. They are considered gifts without a court order. You need to knock some sense into him and send him this.
