No, he will not be able to get on FB while in basic. Here is the page he was trying to get you to find:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Echo-Compa...0813952084

There's nothing on it really, but he may have been told that as it gets closer to graduation, information for family and friends to attend will be posted.

He gave her the the company Echo1/19 (also reads Eco 1/19) and 24 Aug-30 Nov is the date of the cycle. Being this just started a new cycle, the administrator may have deleted the old page cause I find a link to it here https://www.facebook.com/groups/304427282975702 But this is just a way you can keep up with what they are doing and maybe a few pictures and if your luck your SIT will be in one. Also if it gets started back up, limit your comments to "thank you", don't ask them to send any messages or get too lovey cause it can cause him to be smoked. My son just graduated from Alpha 1/19 last Fri. You may also find some other groups on Facebook that can help you get though him being away.

He will not have access to a computer to get on FB while at basic. Depending on where he's in basic at, they may let them have their cel-phones for 5-10 minutes a few times while there, but he's likely going to want to talk to someone. When I was in basic (a little over 3 years ago) we were given our phones for like 5 or 10 minutes 3 or 4 times (so we didn't have to wait to use the pay phones), I definitely wasn't wasting any time on FB.
