Keep in mind that Twitter indicated on thier blog that they were having technical issues with images.

Twitter users, including myself, were having problems with being able to upload new backgrounds and avatars.

It took me 3 days of fiddling with twitter to get it to accept my images. (I change often to test out new backgrounds I create).

So if you continue to have problems just keep trying and eventually it will take.

I have listed the steps you need to take to change your twitter background.

You can easily change your background using the steps below:

1. Find (or make) a Twitter background you want to use.

2. Save the Twitter background to your computer (remember where you put the file).

3. Go to your Twitter account and log in.

4. Go to Settings-Design and click the ‘change background image’ link.

5. Click the ‘Browse’ button and find the image you want to use (the one you remembered where you saved it).

6. Select the image.

7. Next just click ‘Save Changes’ … and Viola! You're done.

I have a collection of free Twitter background you may be interested in that includes Sports, Pets, Abstract, Beach, Sunsets... You can see them at http://www.twitterpatted.com

I have personally test all the backgrounds and they all load fine on Twitter so if you have problems just keep trying until Twitter gets straightened out. Frustrating I know, but all you can do is keep trying.

Hope this helps,
Brenda
